Wow! How wonderful e-mail time is! It pulls me back to home, and makes me feel happy that I still have a life there :) Thanks for your prayers and support! Anyways, let me get right into my week!

Oh, first, business item. Apparently we are supposed to get all the Christmas packages to the mission home by December 1st if possible because of how many there will be. They need time to sort through them :). Also, other random thoughts, my hair grows faster in Asia because of the humidity! It is getting so long!!

So on Monday, we had a great lesson with some of our members. I prayed for inspiration as to what to teach them, and felt like prayer would be perfect. We gave a nice lesson on it, and I really felt the spirit! I was really happy Heavenly Father was helping me so much to figure out what to teach this family.

Tuesday we had a really good Zone Meeting about focusing on our strengths and still consecrating ourselves. It was nice because we did it at Botanical Gardens. It was really, really hot, but it was really pretty. Poor Sister Fuglistaler got so many ant bites because we sat on the 'grass' of Singapore - which is seriously just Crab Grass. I really felt the spirit. It was nice to be able to focus on so many good things!!!

Wednesday, I had a crazy contact! So, we are trying to be more bold in contacting after last Zone Conference, and so we have to ask for 10 numbers a day. So, we were on our way home, and there was this man that I just started talking to. It felt a little strange at first, but I just listened to the spirit and within 30 seconds, started explaining why I was here. I then boldy asked for his number, and he gave it to me as I hurried off the bus. It literally took about 1 minute. It was insane! Reading it, it probably doesn't make much sense, but it was really exciting for me.

We didn't meet R this week, but she is doing really well. She is progressing, and hopefully will be finishing her job soon! I can't wait for the day when she can come to church. I know she is going to love it! We also had a good lesson with Z W, and she was really receptive to the Restoration! She might start progressing after not progressing for a while, so I'm grateful we listened to the spirit a lot with her too. It's incredible what happens when you try to literally turn God's work over to Him, and focus on following the spirit in every finding, teaching, and studying section. It takes work and is hard, but that's when we are successful.

We also got a new investigator this week! She is really nice, but is also a typical Singaporean. She is in the middle of exams, and refuses to see us again until November 15th. So, we will wait it out! I guess there's only so much you can do :).

I keep hoping to be able to find new investigators! I am talking to everyone, everywhere, and know that referrals are going to come, and that everything is going to finally come together!

The coolest miracle of the week?? So, Sister Fuglistaler and I decided that we wanted to get 3 separate people to General Conference, because we know how powerful it can be. We worked hard to invite as many people as we could to General Conference and for a couple weeks whenever we called potentials, we mentioned this 'special church meeting' where a prophet would speak. Personally, I also chose to consecrate something to show Heavenly Father that I was ready to meet this goal if he would allow it to happen. I wish I could explain to you the miracles that occured in getting people to come to conference, but there were truly miracles. I invited a man on Saturday, and he showed up to both sessions of Sunday conference, and then I felt prompted to call someone on Saturday night as well, and she showed up and brought a couple of friends. It truly was amazing, and by the end of the 4 sessions, we had a total of 6 people who got to experience conference and feel the words of the living prophet and the spirit that accompanied this weekend. It was such a neat experience, one I will always cherish! It's such a testimony builder that if we are willing, God will make us an instrument in His hands.

Conference was truly inspiring! I'm so grateful for a living prophet, and know that Thomas S. Monson speaks for God, and that if we heed his counsel, we will never have any reason to be worried in this life. I loved President Monson's talk the most, and really thought about how much I want to learn about the Savior. I really want to study and emulate His life! I want to be like Him. Also, I thought of Dad during Elder Holland's talk, and wish I had someone to talk to about Priesthood Session.

My thought for this week is about Conference. So, last night, we were able to go to a member's house for a YSA FHE. Wow! Lots of Mormon acronymns there...but, Elder Woo was there and he gave a really good thought about conference that I want to extend to all of you. Conference is wonderful when you listen to it, but how much of it actually sinks in afterwards? There's a scripture that talks a lot about how the Holy Ghost can touch your heart, but there's agency involved in letting the Holy Ghost enter your heart. I think this is such a powerful concept! It makes me ponder how much of conference I have 'let into' my heart. Anyways, you have to catch conference by letting the spirit into your heart, and you can let it into your heart by doing three things. Listen to conference, then read it, then teach it. You will know when you've caught conference when you underline and cut and paste a paragraph from the Ensign into your journal because it means that much to you :).

Anyways, let conference into your heart, study it! There is so much to be learned from it, and so much we can gain, if we just take the time to let it touch us.

I love you all!!

Thanks for your prayers and support!!!

Love,
Sister Crabb
