So, this week I have something really big coming up! I have a presentation in front of about 30-40 Catholic youth. I've been in contact with some adults here, and it's a really great opportunity to represent the church. I'm excited, and feel Heavenly Father guiding me. During personal study, I had a very strong prompting that one of the locations of our items in the skeleton of our presentation was clearly in the wrong spot. It's amazing how Heavenly Father works with His children! It should be awesome! Please pray that the spirit will be at this presentation, and that when we speak, the youth will FEEL something. We have a great opportunity to touch lives, and it would be incredible if the spirit was there in full force!
The other night, I saw the Voice on at someone's house and it was really strange.
Also, in other news, we're trying to contact a family still! I've seen so many miracles! As we pray together as a house in the morning, we literally find family after family, and invite as many as we can. We're getting closer. We started with families who didn't even want to listen, and now we have some who will "let us come if they have time" and a couple who have given us their number. I know Heavenly Father will bless us to find a family if that is His will. That's something I'm learning as a missionary, that everything happens in God's will and timing! It's such a great experience to just be a missionary here and be loving the people around me. I'm trying to serve the best I can, and it's wonderful!
We are paper crane attacking people's houses, so that's really fun! It makes me happy to secretly drop cookies and cranes off to people when we don't have appointments. As we do, we are finding so many people that God is putting in our path! We got two new investigators this week! It's been amazing.
Also, we took an investigator to a RS activity, and they learned to make nachos. It was so great. The Singaporeans have never done it, so we talked about putting the chip upwards to catch the cheese better, letting it melt, saying it's okay to do this by taste, and a few extra beans isn't going to destroy the baking of the nachos and the bean dip. It was so exciting and made me feel like I was at home! It was also fun to have an investigator there.
I don't know how to express to you how much I love this gospel and I love Heavenly Father. As we strive to do God's will, and lose ourselves in the service of God, that is when we are truly the happiest. One quick thought, gratitude is the catalyst to all Christlike attributes. So, if you think of a catalyst to a reaction in science, and how it helps make the reaction better and faster, if you want to be more Christlike, it all starts with gratitude! Also, as I study with questions and think about the gospel more and more, it's more and more apparent that it is so simple, and so true. This life is about walking by faith, and as we do that, and try and live a "quality life" (ask Rachel about it) we are truly happy. We become converted as we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sorry that was confusing, but it's time to be done.
Love you! Have a happy Thanksgiving!!

Sister Crabb
This is her response to some of our questions/comments about the monsoon season, the investigators who came to church, the contacting change she mentioned last week, and the incident with her hair getting caught in the MRT doors:
Yes, the rain is HUGE! During church the other day, it sounded like the air conditioner was breaking because the rain was so loud. They last a couple hours. And, the umbrella helps a little bit, but mostly you get wet no matter what because of the wind and the bouncing raindrops off the ground. S was one. He's a sweet 14 year old who we're teaching. We're working on getting into his family...we'll see. Y P was the other one. And, no contacting is a new policy from our Zone Leaders. Don't worry, we can still contact as a mission. It's just a zone policy, but contacting is a struggle, it's hard! I love it though. I love talking to people more than just about anything! I'm a chatty person. I like life, I like to have fun!! But yes, people are coming to us. We contact as we go to deliver fun treats to our members. It's actually more effective, and Heavenly Father is actually putting more people in our path as we love and serve! So, we have to do service for our members instead of contacting. So, if we don't teach, we have to find ways to help our members and love them. Lots of heart attacking! J is really busy, hopefully we'll see her in about a week! Yes, it was funny. It didn't hurt, and it was so easy to get out! And, it was driving off, but I'm fine. It was really funny! Also, I got a haircut! Did I tell you??

Time is seriously the worst during e-mail.....
However, I have a couple things to say about this week!
One, it is now monsoon season. This means that rain is EVERYWHERE. I have never experienced more rain, and thunder, and lightning in my entire life. Look up a tropical monsoon storm on you-tube and you will understand what I experience! However, Singapore is seriously my second home now, and I can't imagine leaving here. I love it more than anything, maybe because I'm learning that as you have true charity and love, that's when you are most successful. It's amazing to me how much Heavenly Father loves His children, and how perfect His plan is. R will not be baptized until January, but I know it's because she needs this trial to help her grow. She texts us often and tells us that she has more love for God now than she has ever had before! I think that there is a much bigger picture for her than just a baptism. She's going to be an incredible mom, and member of the church. I feel it every time I'm around her.
In other news, all our investigators are progressing! And, we had 2 come to church. It's amazing to see people change and come unto Christ. It's fun to put your whole heart and soul into just them, and their spiritual lives.
I had two really great leadership experiences this week! Our Zone Leaders gave a great Zone Meeting about love, and I saw a huge miracle from it. So, we aren't allowed to contact anymore. At all. We have to do service for the members. So, when an appointment fell through, that's what we did as backup instead of contacting, even though we are really trying to find new investigators. As we walked around the HDB's looking for a member's house, a lady named J came up behind us. She told us that she was best friends with God, and then invited us to her house so we could share our message with her this week. How cool!! Also, I had a great exchange with our new STL this week. She is fantastic, and everyone loves her.
In other news, we have been invited to find a family to teach by Thanksgiving, so if you could pray for us to be able to find one, that would be fantastic! Miracles are in the air here, and just wait until the end of December, God has a way of working miracles at just the right time, and I know they are coming to Singapore. It's a beautiful place, and I love serving here with all my heart. I know this gospel is true, and it's what is going to bring us true happiness.
Something fun I did this week...I finished gratitude notes for all our members, they are beautiful! Did I tell you my hair got caught in the MRT doors the other week? The whole train gasped. Maybe I did tell you...anyways. I can't think fast enough of something fun I did, it was a fun week though! Don't worry, I always have fun while serving.
I am super happy, although it is hard when things don't work out how you plan. However, I'm finding a lot of confidence in the fact that I am doing my best, and that it doesn't really matter what else happens. I feel Heavenly Father strengthening me all the time. It's funny that sometimes I will just feel confirming moments from the spirit saying "that was the Atonement strengthening you." It's pretty incredible actually. It's amazing how much the Lord supports us, and magnifies our efforts. He's called us to succeed gloriously, and numbers don't really reflect our success. I'm realizing that it's more about how much I love for and care about individuals. Baptisms will hopefully come, but if I just pray for, love, and serve, that is being a wonderful missionary. I miss being at home a little bit at this holiday season, but know as I work hard, I can use it as a beautiful time to bring others to Christ, and focus on the actual true spirit of Christmas and Thanksgiving - no extras. I'm excited for it!
Love you all! Have a fantastic week!

Alrighty, this week has to be a pretty fast letter, so I will cut to the chase, and promise a much better letter next week which will include beautiful pictures of my humidified hair! JB is in Malaysia, and I went with Sister Krivanec. (On 2nd visa run...)
This week was a really sad week! Our investigator R was supposed to come to church this week because she had just quit her job, however, the company is basically forcing her to stay. She signed a lot of papers, and I don't exactly understand why, but even though she served her 1 month's notice, and quit like she needed too, the company won't let her go. It makes me really sad, because she is devastated. I felt empty during sacrament meeting because R wasn't there, and I know how bad she wants to be. I literally cried, and prayed, and even fasted again this Sunday for a miracle. However, that's all I can do. Luckily, I know she will be baptized, it's just a matter of when. I feel peace about everything, even though I have no idea how this is going to work out. The desire of my heart is just to be there for her baptism, and if she can't get baptized until January, I don't know if it's possible.
So, this basically means that R can't be baptized on the 29th - the baptism is in limbo until her company lets her go. I am so frustrated with them, and want to have them let her go so bad!!!
Other than that, my week was pretty normal. I learned the value of fasting, because I fasted with real intent and purpose for R. I want it to work out for her so bad!
Basically, I know that even though life is hard, and sometimes things don't work out in our way or timing, that doesn't mean we give up faith. Patience is an attribute of Christ that is attached to faith, and a lot of times, things don't come when we want. We need to wait, and trust. I am doing that with R!!
Other highlights...we had a nice mini water fight this week, Sister Reach threw water on me (don't worry, it was part of a game we played before bed....) and then I ran and jumped on her bed with my soaking Badju. So, her bed was a little wet that night. She tried to drag me off the bed, but I put up a good fight.
We met a wonderful lady named C, not in our area, but she is also going to get baptized!
Sometimes Satan works really hard, but I know because I have the Savior on my side, everything is going to be fine. I love the members, and I know they are starting to trust me. We harvested a nice referral this week, and although she also isn't in our area, it was great to work so closely with the members.
I love this gospel, I love being a missionary, and I'm grateful that everything I'm learning and doing is just the beginning of what I want to be the rest of my life. Thank you for being so incredible!
Love you all!!

So, this week is probably not exactly what you might think. We had a lot of people cancel on us, but, we had a great time still!
I was able to enjoy my district meeting, where I learned a lot about consecration, and I also was able to enjoy being with my district.
Transfers came in and I'm still in Woodlands, and am excited for the challenge that I get to step up to! I am excited about the pressure of getting the work to pick up in Woodlands. It's going to make me better.
The highlights of the week included a presentation contact! So, we met this lady on the train, and she said that she works at a Catholic youth program, and that her youth coordinator would love for us to come and share about our faith. We prayed a lot over it, and we decided that we wanted to share the Restoration. So, we came and presented that to her, and she was super excited about it! So, we will be working with Elder Woo to present a presentation to literally 60 youth searching for Christ on November 29th - that also happens to be R's baptismal day, so I'm super excited for that Saturday!! That presentation took a lot of thought this week...
Also, I had New Missionary Training! I loved being there again, and still learned a lot. I'm glad I can always be learning about how to improve myself. Sister Fuglistaler is wonderful, and it was a great day.
Besides that, I also went on Visa Run number 2 this week! It was very strange to go to JB. I got a foot massage there and then I put on make-up at Sephora, and I also wandered around. JB is really different! I'm happy right now to be in Singapore. I got back in no problem though, it was actually a miracle!
We put S on date! So, that was great! We have another baptism coming up. I'm really excited about it. Also, we have some good potentials that we will be meeting with. I can't wait! R is still doing well, and I can't believe I get to be here for her baptism! Yes!!! Anyway, I also bore my testimony in church. I got to share it twice this week, and it was really a great expereince both times. I would encougare you to share your testimonies! They are precious gifts that strengthen your own testimony as you share it. It's a principle of the gospel - when you share with the right heart, you also receive! I learned that this week.
Hope this week is full of new investigators that are prepared for the gospel! I love you all so much!! Have a wonderful week in the cool weather!!
